Scarab Magnum U72 Street Sweeper

The Magnum U72 is a single-engine, chassis-mounted vacuum street sweeper built for municipal, construction, and road maintenance applications. It’s capable of highway speed and available with either a single or dual-sweep configuration, which provides a wide 126″ sweeping path when using both side brooms.

The Magnum U72’s hopper is completely manufactured with 4003 stainless steel for corrosion and abrasion resistance. The hopper is shot blasted, a two-pack epoxy primer is applied, and a hard-wearing topcoat provides a premium finish. The particulate screening is hinged and swings down to provide access to the operator for cleaning. With a build quality like this, SCARAB has no trouble offering a lifetime warranty on both the hopper and water tank.

Unidrive Configuration

SCARAB’s Unidrive solution uses a transmission Power Take-Off (PTO). This set-up enables the fan and gear pumps to be configured onto a switchable PTO off the side of the gearbox to power sweeping functions.

The Magnum U72 control system manages engine speed to deliver optimal sweeping performance.

This Street Sweeper requires a CDL to operate.
