PowerBoss Armadillo 10X Sweeper

Powered by a gas, LPG or turbo diesel liquid cooled industrial engine, the PowerBoss Armadillo 10X sweeper is one tough machine. All steel construction and oversize tires give it the strength to survive in the harshest industrial applications. Brick factories, steel mills, 24 hour a day distribution centers, and more have found the Armadillo 10X to be up to the task.

The Armadillo 10X has a 30 cubic foot multi-level high dump hopper and a 72″, or 84″ width optional dual side broom sweeping path. PowerBoss’ unique Rotary Trash Relocator(RTR) system keeps the Armadillo 10X on the job sweeping when others are traveling to the dump site.

A hopper access door allows for the manual loading of usweepable debris such as metal banding or long boards. PowerSwing engine access actually rotates the engine out of the machine for easier maintenance. Many options are available to equip the PowerBoss Armadillo 10X to your particular need. The 10x offers the largest sweeping footprint of the PowerBoss Sweeper Product line. Rugged all-steel construction, a 2,000 lb./30ft3 hopper, and Kubota Tier IV engine ensure superior industrial reliability. Simple, all-hydraulic controls and no tools needed to change brushes and filters, maximize operator utilization. With a sweeping width of over 7 ft. the 10x from PowerBoss is able to tackle the largest indoor and outdoor cleaning needs.

Operators will find productivity gains with the 10x rotating hopper or “RTR”. This feature allows collected debris (while in operation) to be moved forward, resulting in additional “gained” hopper space. This allows for full utilization of the hopper and increases the amount of volume that can be collected in a single shift (similar to a trash compacter). The 10x was also engineered with dual synthetic dust filters which keep exiting dust below 3 microns and twin shaker motors ensure that filters remain clean. Based on environmental needs, HEPA and MERV filtration are available. When preventative service or maintenance is needed, PowerSwing (engine pivots full 180 degrees) allows for faster service, less downtime and maximum engine accessibility.
