Swenson MDV Select Series Insert Spreaders

The Swenson MDV Select series are medium duty V-Box spreaders designed to be mounted in a dump bed or on a flat bed truck of 16,000 lb. to 20,000 lb. GVW rating, which do not require a CDL. The gas engine driven models include wireless controls, making it easy to move to different trucks.

A 45 degree slope on the hopper sides insures material flow to the conveyor and an inverted “V” reduces the load on the conveyor and helps prevent tunneling. A 12,500 lb. tensile strength self cleaning pintle chain improves conveyor performance. Full length rubber shields prevent material spillage and the front poly idler bearing does not require lubrication and is warranted for 10 years! Four section hinged top screens prevent larger chunks and debris from entering the hopper.

The MDV Select’s 24″ high swing-up spinner frame positions the disc closer to the ground to reduce the amount of material striking other vehicles. The swing up feature facilitates unloading of unused material. A durable 24″ polyurethane spinner disc is long lived and produces an improved spread pattern. Adjustable baffles allow you to set the spread pattern.
