Meyer BL-400 Tailgate Spreader
The Meyer BL-400 spreader is a 5.4 cubic foot, 400 lb. capacity spreader designed for SUVs and light trucks for spreading bagged rock salt or snow melt products. It comes standard with a convenient 2″ receiver hitch and two-speed controller.
The BL-400 is powered by a 1/6 HP electric motor and will spread salt in a pattern up to 25′ wide.
The thermo-plastic hopper is rustproof and the heavy-duty steel frame is powder coated for long life. An optional vibrator allows for the spreading of sand and/or salt sand mixtures.
