Meyer RTG Dump Truck Spreader

The Meyer RTG series of spreaders replace the dump body tailgate during deicing operations. They fit medium-duty dump trucks (15,000 GVW and larger), and their body width options are 78″ – 84″ or 84″ – 90″.

Hydraulic drives on the auger and spinner allow for independent control. A stabilizer keeps the spinner parallel to the road at all dump angles. An agitator is incorporated into the trough to keep material flowing to the single 6″ auger. An anti-flow plate is installed over the material drop out to prevent material free flow while the auger is not turning.

A safety interlock system disables the auger and agitator during clean out and maintenance operations. The Meyer RTG spreads salt, sand, or a mixture of both from 4′ to 40′.
